The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in its regular press briefing, shared the latest updates of Kovid-19 from across the country and the government's response to the health crisis.

To date, 69,582 trials have been conducted through the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method and 111,109 rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs), where 2,853 PCRs and 4,054 RDTs have been tested in the last 24 hours.

Currently, there are 119,192 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country, while 1,176 persons are in isolation.

The government's mobile application Hamro Health and web portal covid19.mohp.gov.np has recorded 533 entries in the last 24 hours, with the total number of self-rated entries being 51,898.
Six new individuals have been added to the red-zone list in the last 24 hours. Their contact is being tracked by the concerned authorities.

On Saturday, 166 new cases of coronovirus infection, including 162 men and 4 women, were recorded, taking the national level to 1,567, indicating that the virus is contained.
