In addition, there are thousands of free blogger templates that you can use to give your website a professional look. Let's start with step by step guide to create a website for free.

 Step 1: Login to Blogger
Go to http://www.blogger.com/home and sign in with your Gmail ID and password, if you don't have an account then you can make it for free by clicking the "Sign Up" button on the top right Huh. The corner as shown in the screenshot below. Blogger belongs to Google, which is why you will need a Gmail account to create a website on Blogspot.

Time to create a new website, click on the New Blog button.

 Step 4: Provide the website's domain name and title
In this step, you have to provide the title and address of your website. For example: if you want to create a website on books then the address (also called domain name and site URL) can be bestbooks.blogspot.com or itbooks.blogspot.com and the title can be Best IT Books Blog. is. You should know that since these domain names are free, they will be suffixed with blogspot.com by default. Blogspot also gives us the option to have a custom domain name and we will see how to add a custom domain name later in this guide.

 The domain name must be unique, so chances are that the domain name you have chosen is already registered. In that case you should try a different domain name until the blue tick address appears to the right of the field as shown below.

 Once this is done, choose a template (you can choose any template at this point, you can change it at any time later, we'll show you how to do it) and click Create Blog!

 Step 5: Start Blogging
By completing step 4, you successfully own a website for free. Now, you can start posting posts / articles, click on Start Blogging!

Enter your website address in the browser and press enter. You will be presented with a website that you have !!. Initially, you may not like the look and layout, but we have not finished the tutorial yet, we will show you every way to tweak your website, so that it looks good and professional.

 Publish a post / article on the Blogspot website
Since you have successfully created a website on Blogspot, you can now start posting articles on your new website. See screenshot below. Publish content, title and hit to publish the post.

 Set the desired Permalink structure in Blogspot?
You must be wondering what is this? This is a link (address, which you enter in the browser to see your post)

 Two options are available when writing posts.

 Automatic Permission: Based on the title given in the Title section, Blogger will automatically generate Permalink for the current post.

 Custom Permalink: Choose Custom Permalink in the sidebar as shown in the screenshot below and provide the value. Low-case words with hyphens (-) in between are the best options.

 Change the appearance of your website
If you want to change the appearance of your website, you can easily do this by changing the website template. Click on the template, like I did below

 You will be presented with a collection of templates. Click the Template button below each template in the library. Alternatively, there are many websites from which you can download popular and good looking website templates for free. We will share some of them in the next section.
