Irrfan Khan passes away in Mumbai hospital

ed for a stomach infection. The 53-year-old actor had been battling cancer since 2018 and his official spokesman confirmed on Tuesday that he was under doctor's supervision. Irfan is survived by his wife Sutapa and sons - Babil and Ayan. Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar wrote a condolence letter remembering the actor. His family issued an official statement, "I trust, I have surrendered"; Irfan wrote about his battle with cancer in 2018.
